We handcraft our beautiful Amber scented candles in small batches in Wales. Each is made from 100% natural soy wax, resulting in a clean and eco-friendly burn.

-Firstly, on the first burn, make sure that you allow the scented wax to melt to the side of the glass. This could take two to four hours, depending on the size of the candle.
-Subsequently, trim the wick to about 5 mms. If the wick is too long, the flame will be larger, ultimately resulting in sooting caused by carbon build up.
-Also, never burn a candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
-Always ensure that each candle is kept upright, and away from curtains, soft furnishings or clothes, etc.
-Always extinguish your candle with a snuffer. Never use water to extinguish a candle.
-Make sure there is no debris in the melt pool, such as wick trimmings or pieces from matches.
-Ensure that your candle is placed on a stable, fire resistant surface, and also well away from the reach of children, and pets.
-Never leave a candle unattended.
-Keep the candle away from any draughts, or curtains which may blow in the wind.
-Do not touch a burning candle, or move it.
-Never burn a candle right down to the very bottom of the container, to prevent any candle from overheating. Try to leave about 5-10mms of wax.
